Details
We asked for your views on proposal to introduce a Universal Credit earned income banded scheme. The proposed change to the Scheme would affect those who receive Universal Credit and work. Our aim being to make the Scheme consistent, clear, and fair.
If we do go ahead with this, it will come into effect from 1 April 2023.

Who could participate
We welcomed views from all those who live, work and study in the borough, as well as local voluntary and groups and local businesses.
How you shared your views
Via questionnaire (standard or easy read) or a one-to-one session with one of our revenues and benefits officers.
