Every five years the Council is required to review, consult on and re-publish its Licensing Policy Statement. We have prepared a draft Statement of Principles (Gambling Policy) for consultation. Following consideration of the feedback we receive, we intend to publish the final version of the document in January 2025.
Introducing the Enfield Gambling Vulnerability Area: A review of the data and key stakeholder views has been undertaken to update the Gambling Local Area Profile. This has resulted in an identified vulnerability area, namely along Hertford Road and parts of Haselbury, Lower Edmonton and Jubilee wards. Applicants/licence holders must consider and include reference to this vulnerability area in their risk assessments, which are required in addition to any application.
Who can participate
Those who live, work or study in the borough, as well as local businesses owners and representatives from the statutory and voluntary sectors.
