Dugdale Arts Centre (DAC), in partnership with The Nerd Council, is hosting Enfield’s biggest anime and gaming event on 30 March 2024.

The festival promises to offer an unparalleled experience to celebrate all aspects of nerd culture, with something for every fan to enjoy.

This will be the largest festival of its kind to ever take place in the borough of Enfield.

Attendees can expect immersive activities, including an exclusive live experience of The Nerd Council’s podcast, gaming tournaments for players of all skills, exclusive prizes for costume play competitions delivered by the leading pop-culture retailer Funko, and a workshop on ‘How to Become a Pokémon Master’.

The Nerd Council is the UK’s premier podcast dedicated to challenging stereotypes within the gaming community. Through collaboration with DAC, Enfield Council aims to level up the investment in the borough’s cultural life, featuring a range of creative events and entertainment for residents to engage in.

Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Public Spaces, Culture and Local Economy, Cllr Chinelo Anyanwu, said: “We are thrilled to partner with a great inclusive platform like The Nerd Council to bring one-of-a-kind festival to Enfield.”

“NerdVerse will be more than an event, it will be an exciting space where residents in Enfield can come together and create a sense of community to celebrate their passions.”

Alongside the gaming events, a live DJ and street food will also be on offer. NerdVerse is aimed at all ages but do be aware some activities may not be suitable for kids under 13.
