Details of parades and memorial services to commemorate Remembrance Sunday have been confirmed by Enfield Council.
Residents are invited to three parades and wreath laying events on Sunday 10 November in Enfield Town, Edmonton Green and Southgate.
The events will commemorate the sacrifices of those who lost their lives in the two World Wars and more recent world conflicts and will remember those who gave their lives for their country.
Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Cohesion and Enforcement, Cllr Gina Needs, said: “I’d like to invite all residents and the wider local community to join us to commemorate Remembrance Sunday, so we can pay our respects to those who paid the ultimate price and sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
“We owe a tremendous debt to all of the brave people who defended our country, and to the Armed Forces who continue to protect us today and keep us safe from conflict.”
