Local Pension Board
As part of the governance of the Pension Scheme, the London Borough of Enfield Pension Fund must operate a Local Pension Board. The Pension Board helps the pension fund comply with the LGPS rules, overriding pensions legislation and guidance from the Pensions Regulator. The Pension Board is made up of equal numbers of employer and member representatives.

Pension Policy and Investment Committee
As a Scheme member, you pay contributions to the LGPS. Your employer pays the balance of the cost of providing your pension benefits. Employees contribute roughly one third of the Scheme’s costs and employers pay the rest.
As part of the governance of the Pension Scheme, the London Borough of Enfield Pension Fund must operate a Pension Policy and Investment Committee to oversee the Pension Funds long term investment strategies and monitor investement performance.

London Borough of Enfield Pension Fund Communications Policy
The Communications Policy (PDF, 391.95 KB) sets out the communications policy of the Administering Authority of the London Borough of Enfield Pension Fund as required under the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations (2013), Regulation 61 and the strategy for its communications with members and Scheme Employers.
London Borough of Enfield Pension Fund Administration Strategy
The purpose of the Administration Strategy (PDF, 351.47 KB) is to set out the roles and responsibilities, and performance standards expected of the fund and that of the funds employers. It seeks to promote good working relationships, improve efficiency, and enforce quality amongst employers of the fund.
