Renewal of vows ceremonies

We offer a special ceremony for married couples to renew their marriage vows. It is a celebration with friends and family of the couple’s married years together.

Ceremonies take place in the Admiral's Suite at Enfield Register Office or at a licensed venue in the borough. You can have a renewal of vows ceremony in Enfield even if you live outside the borough. The ceremony is different to a marriage ceremony as it has no legal status.

Call 020 8379 1000 to book your ceremony or make an enquiry online. You must show us your marriage certificate before you can book a ceremony.

Around four to six weeks before the ceremony, you meet with one of the staff in the registration team to discuss the details of your ceremony. We will explain your choices, for example your promises, readings and music. We will also ask for payment of any final fees.

You can see our fees. Terms and conditions apply.

If you choose to have your ceremony at a licensed venue rather than the Admiral’s Suite, this fee is for the registrars to attend the ceremony and does not include venue costs, such as catering. This will need to be arranged directly with the venue.
