Club gaming permit
Clubs such as a members clubs (but not commercial clubs) can apply for a club gaming permit which allows the club to offer equal chance gaming such as poker and bingo or games of chance (pontoon and chemin de fer only). It also allows up to 3 gaming machines in total of categories B3A, B4, C or D, but only one machine can be of category B3A.
Club machine permit
The members club can also apply for a club machine permit which allows the club to offer equal chance gaming such as poker and bingo, and up to three gaming machines in total of categories B3A, B4, C or D. Only one machine can be of category B3A.
You can use our application form to apply for a new licence or renew an existing licence.
It is a criminal offence to carry out unlicensed activities and, if convicted, you could be given an unlimited fine and/or a 51-week prison term.

If your application is unsuccessful, you may appeal to a magistrates' court within 21 days of the decision.
