Suppliers wanting to access public sector contract opportunities need to use Find a Tender, the new UK e-notification service, instead of OJEU/TED.
Find a Tender service (FTS) has a similar look and feel to Contracts Finder. It’s free, and you do not need to register to search the site.
Benefits of registering with Find a Tender
Registering with Find a Tender service will enable you to save searches, set up email alerts and ‘watch’ notices. If you’re already registered on Contracts Finder (or the Supplier Registration Service) you’ll be able to use the same login credentials for FTS. If you’re not already registered and would like this enhanced functionality, register as a supplier on Contracts Finder now.
Accessing opportunities launched after 31 December 2020
Suppliers who want to access public sector contract opportunities in the UK, where the procurement is launched after 11pm on 31 December 2020, will need to access FTS. These changes do not affect suppliers’ access to other domestic portals, such as Contracts Finder, MOD Defence Contracts Online, Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales and eTendersNI.
Accessing opportunities launched before 31 December 2020
Suppliers who want to access public sector contract opportunities in the EU, or information about procurements launched by UK contracting authorities, before 11pm on 31 December 2020, may continue to do so via OJEU or TED.
Accessing data outputs
Suppliers and data consumers who make use of OJEU or TED data outputs will be able to access publicly available data outputs for FTS. Data is available for testing. For support, contact the Crown Commercial Service Helpdesk on 0345 410 2222 or email info@crowncommercial.gov.uk.
