Pay a stage hypnotism licence fee
You need a licence if you want to perform hypnotism in public for entertainment purposes. You don’t need a licence if the hypnotism is for scientific demonstration or research. You may also need a theatre or entertainment licence, depending on the type of performance.
It is a criminal offence to carry out unlicensed activities and, if convicted, you could be given a £1,000 fine.
