Pay an occasional sale licence fee
An occasional sale is a group of 5 or more trade stalls that are not on a highway or in a building. This might be a small market or a car boot sale.
To organise an occasional sale, you need a licence unless the proceeds are entirely for charitable, sporting, religious or political causes.
It is a criminal offence to carry out unlicensed activities and, if convicted, you could be given a £2,500 fine.
