We grant a personal licence to an individual, which authorises them to supply alcohol, in accordance with a premises licence. It is a criminal offence to carry out unlicensed activities.
The Deregulation Act 2015 removed the requirement to renew personal licences, with effect from 1 April 2015. Therefore, you no longer need to apply to renew your licence.
When applying for a licence, you must also fill in our disclosure of convictions and declaration form (PDF, 34.13 KB).
