Home care and home sitting services are provided mostly within a child’s or young person’s home and include some personal care.
The following organisations can provide home care and home sitting services for children and young people with mild to severe learning and physical disabilities:
- Carers Trust (Lea Valley Crossroads Care Service) has carers able to speak Bulgarian, Croatian, Fante, French, Ga, Hindi, Italian, Lingala, Portuguese, Slovak, Spanish and Twi
- Edenvale Care has carers able to speak Polish, Mandarin, Welsh, Bulgarian, Romanian, Spanish, Turkish, Italian, Urdu, Greek, Cantonese and Arabic
- Marego has carers able to speak French, German, Italian and basic Turkish
- Springcare Support Services has carers able to speak Turkish, Somali, Spanish, French, Lingala, Igbo, Twi and Russian
