Children with Down Syndrome in Enfield follow a specified pathway from birth through to school age. Families and children will be supported on a regular basis through this journey by a range of professionals.

Down Town

Down Town is a weekly term-time group for children with Down Syndrome, run by Cheviots Specialist Children's Centre.

In these sessions, communication specialists support the development of early communication skills, signing, building facial muscles, and encouraging reading.

The group also gives parents the opportunity to share information and build networks.

Brothers and sisters of the children can also attend.
