Reardon Court is a new extra care housing scheme in Winchmore Hill. It opened to residents in the summer of 2024. It is for people aged 55 or older who qualify for social housing and want to live independently but may need extra care and support to do so.
The facility has 70 self-contained, accessible flats (64 x 1-bedroom and 6 x 2-bedroom), let at London Affordable Rent. It also offers communal facilities and 24-hour on-site care.
Enfield Council owns Reardon Court, and is the landlord and housing services provider for its tenants. Chosen Care provides the on-site care services. The care provided is tailored to each resident’s needs.
To qualify for Reardon Court, you must:
- be aged 55 or over
- qualify for social housing under the Enfield Council Housing Allocation Scheme PDF, 745.88 KB
- qualify for social care services under the Care Act and need on-site care
