Reardon Court extra care housing scheme

Reardon Court is a new extra care housing scheme in Winchmore Hill. It opened to residents in the summer of 2024. It is for people aged 55 or older who qualify for social housing and want to live independently but may need extra care and support to do so.

The facility has 70 self-contained, accessible flats (64 x 1-bedroom and 6 x 2-bedroom), let at London Affordable Rent. It also offers communal facilities and 24-hour on-site care.

Enfield Council owns Reardon Court, and is the landlord and housing services provider for its tenants. Chosen Care provides the on-site care services. The care provided is tailored to each resident’s needs.

To qualify for Reardon Court, you must:

Applicants must also need continuous or periodic care. Adult Social Care will assess your needs to determine eligibility.

Extra care housing can be an alternative to residential care, or a chance to downsize to a more suitable living environment.
