- Compost bins
- Fruit cages
Structures you are not allowed
- Dwelling houses
- Chalets
- Summer houses
- Verandas and canopies
- Kitchen facilities
You are also not allowed to bring tents, caravans or campervans onto allotment sites.

Failure to comply with permitted structure sizes, could result in a termination of the tenancy agreement.
If you have been issued with a termination notice or notice to quit, you must make sure all sheds or structures on the plot are emptied of all contents and any padlock removed. Failure to do so will result in the council removing and destroying any padlock and contents.
Tenants must remove unauthorised structures or the council may remove the structure itself and charge the tenant with the cost of doing so. Allotment tenants are not allowed to bring their own toilet onto allotment plots.
