Community halls and venues for hire

Halls on estates

We manage several buildings across Enfield that can be hired out for private events, parties and community activities. These include community halls on housing estates, youth centres and 3 community centres.

Our vision is to establish these community spaces as thriving centres for creativity, support, advice, education and leisure. We see these spaces as places to bring local people together and build stronger neighbourhoods.

You can find your nearest community space by using the interactive map below.

Facilities and closing times

All our halls have full kitchen facilities, a disabled toilet and tables and chairs. You should include set up and cleaning times within your booking hours. We do not provide cleaning equipment, any catering service, projectors or speakers.

We only have 2 halls that can accommodate an indoor bouncy castle, these are Memorial Hall and Kempe Hall. A few of our halls have the facility for a bouncy castle outside. Some of our other halls can accommodate a soft play area and some smaller bouncy castles indoors, which we could consider upon application.

You can bring alcohol to your event as long as you do not charge for it.

All our halls must be closed by 11pm, as they are in residential areas.

Booking a hall

You need to provide the following within 5 working days of booking a hall:

Without the above, your booking will not be confirmed.

As the hirer of the hall, you are covered by our public liability insurance but if you have a third-party provider at your event such as a bouncy castle, soft play area or DJ, we would need to see a copy of their company’s public liability insurance.

If the hall is available on your requested date, we will provisionally book the hall and email you the paperwork to complete and return. Once we receive the paperwork, we will get you set up on our system and raise the invoice for immediate full payment.

Please note - you will need to pay a refundable deposit (the amount will depend on the times of hire). This will be refunded to you after the event, as long as you leave the hall clean, tidy and vacated on time. If we are not satisfied with the state of the hall at closing, your deposit will not be refunded.

Activities and events not permitted

We will not accept bookings for events which are from organisations of a political or extreme ideological nature for the purpose of pursuing that agenda. View our community spaces lettings policy.

Community hall rates

From 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025

These prices are for the community halls only. Salisbury House, Green Towers, Angel Community Centre, Community House and the youth centres have their own pricing, which we can provide upon enquiry.

If you let us know your preferences, we can check availability for you. We will also ask for the date and times you would want the hall.

None of our halls are manned so we need to arrange appointments for viewings. If you would like to arrange a viewing, please email us and the relevant hall manager will contact you.

You can find more information about the halls we have available to hire:
