Enfield Culture Team are seeking a dynamic Pop-Up Events and Food Festival Producer with experience in the local food scene to deliver a project involving a pop-up food events programme and food festival at Dugdale Arts Centre (DAC).
The role will involve:
- development and delivery of a pop up food programme running from September 2024 to March 2025 and large-scale food festival in March 2025
- reviewing DAC’s current food and beverage offer and patron dining experience
- leading on branding for the pop up series, festival and in venue dining
- implementing approved food and beverage and dining experience recommendations at DAC
- enlisting a diverse range of quality Enfield food businesses for a programme of pop-up events at DAC
- working with DAC management to make sure the programme compliments the DAC cultural programme
- completing relevant administration to make sure all businesses are compliant to trade
- delivering a celebratory food festival at DAC at the end of the pop up series
- working with the DAC team and all participants, to deliver a marketing plan which maximises the opportunity for local businesses and DAC
- delivering an impact report at the completion of the project
Who Are We Looking For?
- Someone who knows and loves Enfield, the Enfield food scene, and its community
- Experience working with both small and large businesses in the sector and with an excellent knowledge of high-quality local providers
- Ability to organise and manage successful events
- Great at connecting with people and promoting events
- A huge passion for food and a strong understanding of food trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and team members effectively
- Proven experience in foodie event planning and coordination, with a track record of aiding in the running of successful, creative foodie events (desirable but not essential)
- Strong IT skills, specifically Excel, are desirable
- A real team player capable of working collaboratively in a close-knit team, whilst also being capable of taking initiative to bring their own original creative ideas to life
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure
- Flexibility is key - you must be able to think fast and adapt to unexpected changes quickly
- Enjoy working with clients, customers and building relationships with external suppliers
