Purpose of role
As a Job Club Champion, you will help job seekers with online job applications, updating their CVs, and improving their digital skills. You will make a real difference by giving them important job skills.
Key responsibilities
- Help job club members use computers for job searching, writing CVs, and applications
- Assist with setting up email accounts and online job profiles
- Provide one-on-one guidance on basic IT and digital skills
- Create a welcoming and encouraging environment for attendees
- Offer general support and encouragement to job seekers
- Direct individuals to relevant resources or additional training opportunities
Requirements
- Comfortable using computers and helping others with digital tasks
- Friendly, patient, and willing to support people with different levels of experience
- Good communication skills and a supportive attitude
- Commitment to attending sessions regularly
- Willing to undergo a DBS check and complete full training provided by WO Consultancy
