You might get a penalty charge notice (PCN), also called a parking ticket or fine, if you do not follow parking restrictions or traffic regulations. The notice can be left on your vehicle, handed to the driver, or sent to you in the post.
You can pay your PCN online or by calling 0330 088 4798.
Pay a penalty charge notice (PCN)
If your car has been towed, you can find more information about vehicle removals.
You can also appeal a penalty charge notice if you think it was issued by mistake. Do not pay the fine if you plan to appeal. Once payment has been received, the case is closed.
PCN charges
PCN charges are set by the London Councils Transport and Environment Committee, with approval from the Mayor of London and the Secretary of State. The amount depends on the offence type and severity of the contravention.
The level of penalty charges have not been reviewed since 2010. Following a recommendation to increase these fees, the new charges and additional fees will take effect in the London Borough of Enfield from 7 April 2025.
If your PCN was issued on or after 7 April 2025, the following charges will apply:

---|---|---|
Parking penalty (higher level) | £160 | £80 |
Parking penalty (lower level) | £110 | £55 |
Bus lane penalty | £160 | £80 |
Moving traffic penalty | £160 | £80 |
If your PCN was issued before 7 April 2025, the following charges will apply:
