Forty Hall Vineyard is London's only large-scale vineyard, dedicated to producing high quality, certified organic English wine.
Sanctuary
For many, the vineyard provides a sanctuary, an escape from life’s challenges. Volunteers feel the benefits of being connected to others, working outdoors and being a part of creating award winning wines.

Open Vineyard days during Summer 2022 welcomed in the wider community along with three community lunches hosted for local cultural groups, including the North London Ukrainian Hub and the Turkish Cypriot Community Association.
Theses lunches provided an opportunity to engage more diverse groups with Enfield’s community vineyard and share the benefits and experiences of green spaces.

Oral histories
The oral stories of this unique enterprise are shared via a self-guided tour across the vineyard. You can hear some of these stories both from volunteers and the founder of the vineyard, Sarah Vaughan Roberts.
