Christmas tree collections
If you have subscribed to the garden waste collection service, you can place your real Christmas tree out for collection on your scheduled garden waste collection day. You must remove all decorations, pots and turf from your tree as these cannot be recycled. If your tree is taller than 6ft, please cut it into smaller pieces (otherwise it cannot be collected) or take it to one of the parks listed below.
This year North London Hospice are introducing a free Christmas tree recycling service to selected postcodes in Enfield. For more information visit North London Hospice.
Christmas tree recycling at parks
Until 12 January 2025, trees can be taken to:
- the car park at Firs Farm Park, Firs Lane
- Albany Park
- Bury Lodge Gardens
- Bush Hill Park
- Durants Park
- Grovelands Park
- Jubilee Park
- Tottenhall Sports Ground
- Town Park
- Trent Park
Please leave trees inside the park gates for collection.
Christmas trees can also be taken to Barrowell Green Recycling Centre and the Edmonton Eco Park. Booking may be required – please check online.
